- Are your ceramic products hand or machine made?

All our ceramic products are hand produced and glazed, therefore, you will never find two pieces in the same size or shade. The beauty of our work is in the variations of colors and shapes.

- The paint comes off the tea glasses, why?

Colored tea sets are very delicate pieces and must be handled accordingly. We recommend that when washing you use a mild soap and warm water to clean. Never use washing machine to wash. As with everything, gentle handcare, love and respect will yield you many years of enjoyment with the colored sets.

- Can I purchase an item and send it as a gift on this website?

Yes, our products make wonderful gifts that last a lifetime. Just write the delivery information of the person you want the package to be sent to in the "ship to" field in the billing screen, and we'll do the rest. For additonal directions, you may write a "delivery by" or "include card" in the Comments section. We'll be in contact with you to make sure your gift is perfect!

- Can I pay with PayPal?

- Will my credit card information be given to a country outside the USA?

Absolutely not. Your credit card transactions are made with a US Bank and settlements are handled within the USA.

- If I want to speak with your company do I have to call Turkey?

- When we try to add a second item to the shopping cart the first item we added seems to disappear. Why is this happening?

This usually means your security settings are set too high for the browser to retain store order information. To resolve this issue go to 'Tools' on your command bar. From there click 'Internet Options'. Then click the 'Privacy' tab and make sure your settings are Medium or lower.

- How long will it take to receive the vase or other products I buy once I place an order?

In most cases within 12 days. Since each piece is individually handcrafted and painted, it takes about five to seven days for our craftsmen to produce the item ordered. Larger more intricate pieces take longer but not more than 20 days. You will receive an email advising shipping information once your order is ready to be shipped. The shipping time from Turkey to your door takes one to two days. Delays at customs can occur, but are unlikely. ShopTurkey.com will advise you the status of your shipment throughout the delivery process. Note: Your credit card is not charged until after your order is shipped.

- Who should I contact to see when my item will be finished or shipped?

There is no need to contact ShopTurkey.com for order or shipping information. We will be in regular contact with you from the minute you place your order up to final delivery. But if you have a question write us at info@ShopTurkey.com.

- Can I put food on the plates?

Most of our items are non-functional and to be used for display only. They cannot be used for holding, storing, or serving food and beverages. Newly added tea and coffee sets along with coffee makers (jezve) are food safe. You can find more information about our products in the product info section.

- What if I receive the item and it is broken?

All items are packed according to international shipping standards and shipped insured. The possibility of damage to your shipment during transport is very small. If shipping damage is evident at delivery, you may refuse the shipment. Please read our return policy for more information on how to quickly resolve a damaged merchandise situation in the case you find damage after you've accepted the package.
